WHERE: The Inn at Towamencin, Kulpsville, PA

WHAT CAN YOU LOOK FORWARD TO???

Friday Evening: There will be a social hour at 6:00 PM preceding the Melvin Jones Fellow Banquet which begins at 7:00 PM. All new MJFs will be inducted with a spirit-lifting candlelight ceremony. You need not be a MJF to attend this banquet, however, all previous MJF honorees are strongly urged to attend. If you received your MJF award this year, you should certainly attend. Afterwards, our famous Candidates' Hospitality Room will be open and everyone is invited to stop by! Also, Friday evening marks the 10th Annual Leo Dinner/Pizza Party (registration info to be provided through the Leo Clubs), open to all Leos, their Advisors, chaperones and guests.

Saturday Morning: Opening Ceremonies will kick-off the day's events at 8:30 AM, followed by our morning seminars: The Club Secretary's seminar again will include instructions for online reporting; the Intro to Ear Screening seminar will feature instructions on operating the Ero-Scan screening device; and the Lions Orientation & Membership Strategies seminar is for new and older members alike. Later in the morning, we will have free coffee and danish for all.

Throughout the Day: Collections for our annual Used Eyeglass Contest will be held from 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon, with the contest winners being announced at the evening banquet. The Supply Store will be open from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Club & District displays and exhibits will be open from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and free Diabetes Screening will be offered between 9:00 AM and 12:00 noon. We are again requesting your club's contribution to our annual Basket raffle. Each basket must be delivered to the hotel by 3:00 PM Friday.

Saturday Afternoon: Our speaker for the Model Luncheon will be Lion Dan Hummel, President of the Audubon - Oaks Lions Club. Following the luncheon are more seminars: the Intro to Eye Screening seminar features instructions on operating the SureSight auto-refractor; and the Sponsoring a New Leo Club seminar will explain what's involved in forming a new Leo Club. There will also be the Leadership & Prospective Officers seminar for those who may be interested in advancing to a leadership position either at the Club or District level; and a new seminar explaining Lions International's annual Peace Poster Contest. Remember, you do not have to be a club officer to attend any of these seminars -- they are for ANYONE interested in learning about Lionism. At 3:00 we will have the annual Memorial Service honoring the Lion and Lioness members who have passed away this past year. The District Caucus takes place from 3:45 to 4:15 PM, and Elections will follow from 4:15 to 4:30 PM. The Hospitality Room opens following the elections.

Saturday Evening: Social hour starts at 6:00 PM (cash bar will be available) to be followed by our Officers Appreciation Banquet, featuring guest speaker International Director Dick Sawyer from Arizona, and honoring our retiring District Governor and the past year's District and Club Officers. Like last year, only those officers in attendance will be honored.

If you are planning to attend, please note the deadline for reservations, as the discount on meal prices expires after the March 26th deadline. No meals will be available without a prior registration.
